Cloud accounting and invoicing software

Our invoices, billing records, and client financial information are managed through a third-party cloud accounting platform. This may include your name, business name, email address, and payment history. Data may be stored on servers outside Australia.

Payment processors

Our payment platforms receive billing and payment information to process transactions. Both operate under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS security standards. Linkd Marketing does not store your card details directly.

Platform providers

To deliver services, we may work within your Google Business Profile, Meta Business Manager, or other third-party platforms. These providers have their own privacy policies which govern how they handle data.

Subcontractors and delivery partners

We may share relevant project details with contractors or white-label partners who assist in delivering your services. They are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for any other purpose.

Legal and regulatory requirements

Business transfers

6. Payment Data

6.1 How Payments Are Processed

All payment card data is processed directly by Square (for one-time payments) and Stripe (for recurring subscriptions). Linkd Marketing does not see, handle, or store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials at any point.

6.2 What We Do Store

We retain invoice records, transaction amounts, payment dates, and billing contact details for accounting and legal compliance purposes. These are stored securely and retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Australian taxation law.

6.3 Third-Party Payment Policies

For information on how Square and Stripe handle your data, please refer to their respective privacy policies. By making a payment through these platforms, you also agree to their terms of service.

7. Marketing & Communications

7.1 Service Communications

We will always send you communications that are necessary to deliver your services - invoices, service updates, support responses, and important notices. These are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while you are an active client.

7.2 Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing emails or SMS messages where you have provided consent, or where we have a legitimate interest as an existing client under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email, replying STOP to any SMS, or contacting us at hello@linkdmarketing.com.au.

7.3 Client Automation Services

Where we manage SMS or email automation on behalf of a Client, the Client is responsible for ensuring their contact list has valid, lawful consent for those communications. Linkd Marketing will not send messages to any list that the Client cannot confirm has consented. The Client indemnifies Linkd Marketing against any claim arising from non-compliant contact lists supplied by the Client.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives a comparable level of protection consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

9.2 Security Measures

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. This includes password-protected systems, limited internal access, and using reputable third-party platforms with their own security certifications.

Information collected in person is used for the same purposes as information collected online - to process your order, deliver services, and communicate with you about your engagement. It is entered into our secure systems and handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

12.3 Your Right to Decline

You are never obligated to provide personal information to our in-person representatives. You may ask our representative to leave at any time and request that any information already collected be deleted by contacting hello@linkdmarketing.com.au.
